I use a ZIP disc constantly from PC to Macintosh and back.
I want to likewise mount HHDs back and forth w/ compatible MPEG files.
Does Iomega have a way to do this????
They advertise a HHD w/ USB2. and i1394 connects which they say is both PC
and Macintosh "ready".
Does their software, patches, extensions, control panels etc. or something
I can get do this ???
Thanks

These new USB/Firewire external hard drives are ideal for this type of
operation. The only requirement is the ability of the Mac machine to read
the HD, which is usually formatted to FAT32. Mac OS X should have
this capability; PC's cannot read a Mac disc natively. Everything else is
pretty standard, vis-a-vis USB and Firewire. On the PC side, Windows
2000 or XP (or ME) handles USB/Firewire natively.
