I'm wanting to send zip disks to people with various files on each zip. I
want to password protect each file with a different password for each file.
I would then email them with the password when I wanted them to be able to
gain access to that particular file.

Iomega say they can't do it but imply that there's software out there that
can. Any ideas?

try an inquiry on alt.comp.freeware, note your OS, they may know of a
freeware version, that could do what you want.

You could use WinZip and put each file you want to protect in a
separate passworded .zip file. See www.winzip.com
