250 M Parallel port ZD

I have been using a PP 250M Zip drive for about 1 year mainly using 100 M
disks. The other day I found it would not work properly on 250 M disks. It
will read the 250 M disk if it is about half full but if it is any more
than half full it brings up a notice "disk is not formatted" it will not
format or scan a 250M disk. There is no click of death and when it bombs
out the computer has to be rebooted. It does the same thing in two
different computers. Despite all this it still works perfectly with a 100M
disk. I have an IDE drive and this still works. Disks that won't work in
the PP drive still work in the IDE drive. Con anyone suggest what to do to
fix it?

Try the 250 on another computer to see if it works fine there.
