Can anyone help out? I need to reformat a brand new Jaz Tools Disk but am
not able to because it is 'Protected' and I don't know the password. It was
shrink wrapped so I guess it came protected and I can't find any help
anywhere.
Thanks in advance for any help.

help others in the future if you would reply to that post and explain
what you did to fix the problem you were having. I don't think many
people are familiar with using a Jaz drive on a USB connection.

You probably shouldn't install the Iomega Software from the Tools Disk
on an XP system. And you probably shouldn't format the disk without
using Iomega software. You can download a version of IomegaWare for
XP from Iomega's website.
