This is pissing me off. I'm running Windoze 98SE with an internal Zip 100 ATAPI drive.
As of lately when I boot my system, it fails to recognize the existence of the Zip drive.
Re-installing the driver helps. Momentarily. Then it goes back to its forgetful stage
again. I hate it. How do I get this ^%$#@%# machine to realize the zip drive?

BTW on boot up the BIOS does seem to acknowledge its existence. Why not Windows?

Make sure the BIOS isn't controlling the Zip drive, which can
conflict with the drivers. Set the option in the BIOS for the Zip to
"NONE" or "NOT INSTALLED".
