I'm saving some programs and samples to my zip100 and when I load them
later the samples are coming back detuned to random pitches, different
ones every time. The S2000 shows them at the original pitch (A_1 or
whatever), but they're not. This doesn't happen when I load from the
floppy drive, so I'm thinking somethings wrong w/ the zip. Has this
happened to anyone? Thanks.

Did it used to work ok and then it just started acting oddly ?

Do you have more than one zip 100 disk to see if it is
just this one disk acting oddly ?

Are you setting the zip disks on top of other electrical
equipment that might be damaging the zip disks ?

Where did you get the zip drive ?

A guy on ebay says that each zip drive needs to be customized
to the synth it is connected to ? I know zero about synths tho.

If the above link wraps badly, then here is a shorter link to it.
