Hi,

I have a Zip100 disc that has developed bad sectors. I read on the
disc's jacket that there is a 5yr warantee but no info on what is
required to claim it or where to send the disc! CAnt find anywhere on
the website either!

Any ideas?

What brand is your Zip disc? Check the label on the case of your disc for a
1-800 or mailing address and contact the company.

You sound like you were an arsehole first to them. And you probably
have stock in a company that competes with Iomega so you are trashing
them in this usenet group. Microsoft employees used to do that and
still do that in mac groups and it's pretty childish. Either that you
probably don't have your receipt for the Iomega product and just want
a refund without one. But don't worry dude, everyone is to blame but
you forever in your life. Never blame yourself ever and you should be
fine. (^:

I have receipts for the drive I had replaced three times and the one that failed after two years but they referred me to their class action result which enabled them to cut the waranty to ONE YEAR.
How have I been the arsehole great guru? Was it by buying Iomega stuff? Are you abusive because I worked for Immigration or because you work for Iomega?

Why the frag have you had to replace the drive 3 times ? You must be
abusing them or fucking them up a lot to have that high of a failure
rate. All my Iomega drives work fine and have never broken ever in
over ten years. You are a lamer because you say all Iomega products
suck and should be avoided when clearly you only have a small sample
set. It is very fishy that you still hang out in a usenet group that
was set up to assist Iomega users and you are here bashing them. Go
out in the world and join usenet groups that you like to hang out in
instead. I know lots of people with Iomega products that work just
fine. And no, I don't work for Iomega or any other computer company.
My most recent purchase was an Iomega dvd burner external. Works fine
with XP Home SP2. Amazing company. Nuff said...

I gave out the Iomega toll free number already in this thread to the
OP. But if they did not save their receipt, then they might be out of
luck. But since you have no clue how to find any info on the Iomega
webpage on your own, then here you go copy and pasted for you. (^:
I'll do all the leg work, while you just sit there and whine some more
instead of helping other people. If you have any webpages that
independently show that Iomega drives for the last ten years are any
worse than tape drives or hard drives or dvd drives, then let me know.
