Greetings,

I brought yesterday an internal ZIP 750 and I am worried about the
noise that I hear when I push the eject button, with or without disks
inserted.

I can hear the same noise (a short but very loud noise "like a buzz")
when I turn on my PC.

NOTE: I´ve read in some reviews that USB 750 zip drives makes this
noise, but I´ve searched in Google and I have not seen to nobody
speaking of this noise with the new 750 internal atapi zip drives.

Please, somebody with the same drive can tell me if this loud noise is
normal or I have a bad drive?

I need quick answers, because I only have
48 hours to request my money back! ;-)

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,
Alex.

Yes, they make a loud scraping noice, even when you push the button without
a disk inserted.

With kind regards,

Don't worry. It's just getting ready to explode. Committing
suicide--without a car or a backpack......
