Hi there, i have 3 faulty jaz disks and iomega have agreed to replace
them for me free of charge.

BUT,

They want the serial number of my drive. My drive is internal so i
dont know what it is and if i open my pc up to see what it is i will
invalidate my system warranty.

Would someone tell me the srial number of there internal or external
drive so i may get these diaks replaced. As a thank you i am prepared
to send one of these replacement disks to whoever can help me.

thank you very much

Can this system possibly still be under warranty? Considering it has a
Jaz drive in it that was discontinued well over a year ago?

So if the warranty is still good, why don't you take it back to jal and have
them handle it??

Bill
Yes it is still under warranty, i took the jaz drive and the scsi card
out of my old pc and asked jal systems to build it into my new pc.
This way i can still use my drive without having to fit it myself
afterwards. Therefore my warranty is intact. Obviously the jaz drive
isnt under warranty becaause as you say its been out of production for
a while, ive had mine for years.
