Hello

While opening a video from a zip 750 real one player wanted to do
an update. I cancelled and the computer froze and now the disk won't
eject. The green light just blinks. Is there a way to manually eject
the disk? Or, do I just beat the disk open?.

Thanks.

Hi,

I don't know about the Zip 750. On the old Zip 100 drives,
both internal or external type, there was a
pinhole on the back of the drive (upper right area), which could
eject a disk using a straightened paper clip.

If your computer ever settles down so you can get into Windows Explorer
or "My Computer", you might try right-clicking
on the icon of the Zip drive, and select "eject" from the menu.

Also, you might switch to "Real Alternative",
available for free download at www.majorgeeks.com,
and never again have to fight with "Real" trying to force an update.

Good luck,
Ed

Thanks Ed. The eject was greyed out. I'll try the paper clip.
